I was born in Cape Town, South Africa where I lived for my first 23 years. I subsequently spent 5 years in and around Boston, USA where I gained a Master’s degree in Physics from Brandeis University, and several years experience in the software industry using the Java programming language.

I've lived in London since late 2001, working since 2004 as a software engineer in the financial sector.
